I can't say that zinc is the reason, but I've been taking it consistently for years, and I rarely get colds or other common illnesses.Another benefit I've personally noticed is with my Botox. I had read that zinc may prolong the effects of treatment, and I was curious. For me, I really do feel my Botox lasts longer than it used to. I would estimate that it extends treatments an extra month or so before I need more Botox.
