As the title says! My sweet girl adores her new hideout/playground and has made it into an obstacle course for herself. It's sturdy cardboard formed into cubes with peepholes and scratching pads on the bottom. Finally a solution to your cat wanting to play with the box it came in and not the toy you bought. It's not the most straight forward thing to put together, but all fits smooth when you get the hang of it.Pros:°Sturdy°Appeals to the innate cat need to "sits where they fits"°Compact, but larger on the insideCons:°Instructions aren't as clear as they could be. The pictures of the instructions in the product description is what you get°Larger cats may not have enough room to fully enjoy it. (My girl is about 8 pounds for reference.Tips for easier assembly (My partner and I put it together in about 30 minutes) :°Get all your pieces ready first. Punch out all the little bits (just popped them in the box it came in to reduce mess)°Fold all the creases. The flaps on the cube will fold to the inside and connect with the tabs. Keep in mind the final product is a cube, so if any bits are sticking out be sure to fold them in.°There are two different kinds of connector pieces, the ones without a fold in the middle are for joining the upper and lower cubes. The ones with the folds are for the corners and joints.°Before attaching the top and bottom cubes, decide the configuration you want. There are only a few sides that have the holes for connecting the bridges.°Be patient, and have your cat nearby during assembly. They make the process far more entertaining.

Our cats are big, they can still scratch on it but it is too small to get inside of. Each cube is 12” wide and tall. We ended up duct taping it, holds better than the tabs. Lots of work putting together, hundreds of tabs to punch out. Plan on 45 minutes to assemble

I feel like this item may be getting low reviews because the rating questionnaire is asking the wrong questions. My cat loves this! She spends a lot of time in it. She's an average size cat and it looks a little small for her, but she absolutely loves crawling around in it and lays in it much of the day. Was it easy to assemble? It was a small challenge to assemble, but it's not a Rubiks cube or anything. Is it sturdy? My cat hasn't destroyed it. She loves chewing on it and its held up for about 2 months so far. Warmth? Its cardboard. If you want it warmer, put a sherpa in it. Cats love sherpa. Considering that it is cardboard, it actually looks kind of stylish in my home. Certainly not as tacky as a cat condo. It's easier to clean than something with carpet on it. I just vacuum it out with the hose attachment. When this does eventually wear out, I'm going to buy another one. Maybe I'll buy two and put them together. I think she will love it twice as much! This is a great idea for a cat's birthday or Christmas present. This is just a genius product!

My cats usually love to have a cardboard scratch house above all other scratchers and what got me interested in this one is that it is modular. I was expecting the cardboard to be the similar in thickness to previous scratchers we’ve had but it’s 1-ply and I don’t expect this item to last that long. In comparison, we manage to stretch out the lifespan of cardboard houses we buy at Target.Another reason I probably don’t recommend this product is the assembly is very time consuming. The cutouts are still in place and some were falling out when I was unpacking so there is also a lot of mess. Overall, the idea is good but execution not really.

I purchased one of these for myself and one for a friend. It took us 5 hours to get it assembled, and even after that, it was not assembled exactly as per instructions. There is an insert with written instructions and illustrated instructions and the two DO NOT MATCH. Do NOT buy this!

She loves it, strong enough for the cat to take a running leap on to the bridge.

The version of this product that I received did not have the little connector pieces that make it possible to attach the top half to the bottom half.I explained to Amazon Customer Service that I can’t return the item because it’s made of cardboard and is already mostly assembled. They were able to issue me a full refund.With all that said, I end up attaching the top half to the bottom half using some twine I had in the junk drawer. However, this is just a temporary fix until I buy some zip ties which will be tighter and more secure.I read a lot of complaints about the instructions being hard to follow but I found them to be easy to follow. I would have had the whole thing put together in about 20 minutes if I had received all the necessary pieces.Aside from my complaints about the missing pieces, my cats LOVE it. They began playing with it as soon as I had the first cube done.Also, the product feels sturdy and seems like it will hold up to the roughhousing of my kittens.So yeah, this product is a great idea if only they send you all the parts.

Ya tengo un año con esta casita de juego, a mis dos gatos les encanta jugar ahí, se esconden, brincan y se ocultan para dar zapes :), es bonita lo que si es que viene desarmada en mil pedacitos, así es que aunque es de muy fácil armado si se requiere paciencia (unas dos horas), pero si quieres a tus gatitos bien vale la pena, a pesar de ser de cartón tiene buena resistencia

Unsere Katzen lieben ihr „Schloss“. Beide liegen täglich mehrfach darin oder darauf und nutzen besonders die Kratzpappen sehr häufig (sind noch interessanter als die anderen Kratzpappen, die wir haben). Am Anfang haben sie den Durchgang von unten nach oben nicht richtig verstanden, aber inzwischen nutzen sie ihn auch häufig. Wir haben zwei (eher zarte) europäische Kurzhaar-Katzen und die Größe passt für sie perfekt.
