This well constructed 550 tank will ride atop my trailer for the purpose of hauling water. I will baffle the tank down to 425 by adding inflatables as needed. Amazon made this purchase possible by reducing the shipping charges. Very satisfied.

I recently got my hands on this water tank, and I gotta say, it's a mixed bag. Let me break it down for you. The tank itself? Solid construction, no leaks, and it holds a good amount of water. But here's where my disappointment kicks in – it didn't come with any brackets to secure it to my truck. I mean, come on, that's a pretty important detail, right? I had to hit the aftermarket to buy the brackets separately, which was an extra expense and a bit of a hassle. But once I got them and got everything set up, the tank did its job. It's been reliable, no issues with water quality or anything like that. I just wish the whole securing-to-the-truck part was easier. It's a good tank, but that missing feature definitely knocked a few points off. If you're willing to do a little extra work to make it secure, then it could work for you. But if you're hoping for a tank that comes ready to roll, you might want to explore other options.

Not sure about the longevity or reactivity to UV but the unit is well made and true to its description. I use this to collect rainwater for my garden and have an additional, much smaller one (125gal) that serves as the overflow container. Update: After 1 year, the top middle portion caved in about 6". This is without any significant sun exposure. It still works but will surely fail soon and is terrible to look at. I'm going to have to empty it and throw it away (total waste of $900+).
