Any issues with these not lining up with the actual Cricut mats? I bought a different brand and the lines don’t match with Cricut.

They line up with the cricut mats. However these particular “strong grip” ones are not strong grip. My standard green cricut mat had more “stick” than these purple ones.

How do the do with glitter an leather ?

I have tried a glitter faux leather and they work fine.  I cut with the glitter side up.

With real leather it depends upon the thickness of the leather.  But I cut with the suede side down and so I put transfer tape on the suede side prior to applying it to the mat.  Then use a Breyer to help secure it.  Otherwise your mat will be covered with the tiny pieces of leather suede and this will jeopardize the longevity of your mat by absorbing the stickiness.  I also tape down the leather with either masking tape or painters blue tape.  I don’t find that the Maker can handle very intricate cuts on leather very well unless it is paper thin.  If you are cutting thicker leather watch it like a hawk while cutting as it can jam easily.  Be prepared to pause the machine and take small pieces of leather out from behind the blade if it gets stuck.  I find the Cricut doesn’t handle the softer leather very well at all - even on simple cuts.  I would never try the quick option.  My experience is that it will most likely take about 7-10 passes to cut the leather cleanly.  Experimentation is the key here.  Do some cuts with scraps to test out your machine and blades.  I have had no good results at all with the Deep Cut Blade on leather.  I only use The Knife Blade.  But you will need to go into the preferences for the blades and change the number of passes to best handle your leather.  I did find that the pressure was best left on default, but you may decide otherwise.

My answers here are only for the Maker as that is the only machine I have or have ever used.  I know many people prefer some of the earlier machines.

These mats are not as sticky as I would like, but I don’t think that Cricut mats are much better.

My mat isn’t sticky anymore. How can I make it sticky again? Baby wipes didn’t help.

The totally awesome all purpose cleaner from dollar tree works the best for mats! If that doesn’t work it’s probably just time for a new mat.

How are you supposed to clean the mats ?

I hope you are enjoying your purchase. To clean Remove any large debris with tweezers and Avoid scraping the mat. Keep the mat flat. Run lukewarm water over the mat and Use a plastic, hard-bristled brush to gently scrub in a circular motion until the entire surface of the mat had been cleaned. 
Let mat air dry completely for stickiness to return.
