Perfect for DIY!!!
I ordered 2 of these. I used one to make a animated zombie skeleton for Halloween as well as replace the old motor on an animated reindeer for Christmas. It is weatherproof and stood up to a Midwest Fall and Winter. Rain Snow Cold and Wind!! Worked Perfect for Both applications!!!

great little motor
I used these to fix my 20 year old Costco reindeer set. they work well, needed a couple of mods to mount properly, but they make my reindeer fly once again!

Deer Motor replace
This was the perfect replacement for the Christmas deer. It fit perfectly and it was very easy to change.

Not great for my Halloween project
Gave it a 4 star because i thought it would be powerfull enough to raise and lower a 2x3 piece of foam for a Haloween project. It wasnt. I know that wasnt what the motor was built for but still thought it would have more power.

Smooth, Quiet Motor
I used this to replace the motor in an animated mailbox decoration. The replacement motor has no mounting holes, but I was able to mount it using large cable ties. The decoration now works better than ever. It appears to be just as durable as the original motor. It comes with two plastic arms of different lengths to adapt to different applications. I would buy again.

Nice motors, very strong and dependable.
These are terrific motors, nice to Halloween props and custom fabrication for props and animatronics. 120v AC, they run cool, no issues at all. There are no universal mounts for custom work, but that's easily solved with a bit of creativity. The little plastic arms which are included do not actually mount on very well, the plastic is too soft, so count on making your own.

Worked in an Old Easter Decoration Perfectly
I bought this for an old animated wire frame Easter bunny that raises his arm and tips his hat. It fit perfectly. I had to remove the two screws that lined up with the rabbit frame mounting holes and reinsert them through the frame, back into the motor to mount the motor. I also changed to the included short throw crank and used a longer screw I had to attach the two linear rods to that crank that make the rabbit move. The motor comes with the extra female plug already attached to plug in the lights. I hooked everything up, and the little guy is alive again. Nearly a perfect fit, he moves just like he did before. Perfect swap for the old, worn out motor.

Perfect for simple animatronics
I bought two of these for a couple simple Halloween animatronics I built -- an "ankle grabber" skeleton hand that reaches out from underneath a table, and a skeleton hand waving from the back of a tombstone. They were perfect for this application. They had more than enough torque to do the job, are waterproof, and they simply work. The nice feature they don't mention is that this auto-reverses if it pushes up against a stop, meaning you can have it going back and forth by forcing a stop and it's perfectly happy like that.
