The soil meter really works and works well. I have used it on several plants in my home and each of the three features works well. I would recommend this to those of you who dont know much on how to keep a plant healthy and alive. What information it doesn't tell you, I'm sure you can google it. What I like best is it is simple to use and it works! Here is a video I recorded to demonstrate how it works. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ OK, a bit awkward to use *by K***C on Reviewed in the United States on 7 December 2018* I used it while doing my fall planting and the pH reading on this matched that from another type of home test.What bugged me about this is that the face points to the side rather than up. Due to this I think it is only suitable for using on potted plants where you can set them at eye level. Trying to look at it in a garden involves contortions. I guess I will scoop samples into a jar for testing. I just hoped it would be quick & easy to just stab this in and ta-da, got your pH reading. I got it to replace a kit that uses color changing chemicals because I was tired of fussing with "science experiments".
