Ive just purchased this product but now i'm seeing that amazon doesnt have permission to sell ben nye powder. how do i know this is real?

Any Ben Nye products purchased through Amazon are not necessarily fakes, but since it's not an authorized vendor, there's no guarantee of authenticity. I would just buy from Camera Ready Cosmetics. They even have samples of the powders for only $2.99.

Do this work well for darker skin tone?

It works great for a darker skin tone however you want to be sure to use a setting powder or some type of skin finish afterwards so it doesn't make you look so pale
