Skins salmon beautifully. I like to also use it to cut super fresh bread. Works like a charm

Very nice knife. Feels good in the hand. Blade has just enough flex to handle cleaning of a variety of sizes of fish. Holds it edge extremely well.

I had to replace my discontinued Schrade Old Timer 7" Fillet Knife 1470T Green Handle w/ Black Sheath made in USA. I found it used at flea but some one ruined it. I liked the contoured rubber handle, the blade was a decent SS and it came with a nylon sheath with hard plastic liner that the Dex fits into. I seen the 7" SOFGRIP fillet knife only. Wasn't sure, reviews mostly sounded positive and I figured at that price, have a sheath, I'll try it. Knife arrived packed in large box with protection preventing it from easily getting bent or damaged. I handled the grip an it feels perfect in the hand. I checked over blade. It went from fillet knife that was going into a nice but used Shrade sheath and thrown with the gear to purchasing the blade guard and though it will still be used to clean fish outside it is now an indoor blade. Bought a 6" SOFTGRIP a few days later and then the 3 1/2 "Great White" serrated edge with sheath. From never owning 1 to 3 in a few days only just because. As for blade performance just have to wait and see but it doesn't take a genius to realize these knives are a great value with so many options. Get them now. I'll update further

Sharp out of package. Nonslip handle is great. Great knife and made in USA

Real beauty made filleting smooth, cut up over 100 walleye and a couple dozen pike definitely a great purchased very pleased Highly recommended
