This worked well for a generator outlet setup. The receptacle feels solid, the terminals were straightforward to work with, and it seems like a good heavy-duty part for the price.

Used as replacement on my Coleman generator. Hooked up easily and worked just fine.

Easy to install and good quality

I just replaced my 30 amp twist plug on my portable generator. This plug worked well because it holds my cord in solid. The other plug after 56 hours began not holding tight. I suspect because of vibration of the generator. One word of caution is you will need to remove the mounting bracket on the plug and replace it with the mounting bracket on the original plug. Not a big deal. The bracket on the original just screws off. Or option is to widen the holes on this plug so it sets flat. Hope this helps.

Fits US outlet box, I haven't used at full power but seems like good quality outlet for generator.

I didn't realize a 20 amp twist lock plug would not fit into a 30 amp socket. NEMA messed up on this, as electrically no reason it shouldn't (e.g. you can plug a regular 15 amp house plug into a 20 amp house socket). I ended up drilling a hole into it as I needed it to work right away, then replace with the 20 amp socket.

Works great for the $. Lug connection would be better.
