My husband always complained that chopsticks were too flimsy feeling for him. Well... these are not flimsy! They're a bit heavier, a really good grippy matieral, and a 'masculine' matte black colour. Tactical chopsticks. Who doesn't need them?

They are blunt tipped which makes them more challenging than more pointed types. They are great for gripping and reducing hand strain. They also make great hair sticks, they are Ka-Bar tactical utensils. Multi-purpose and light, never used them as defensive tools, but I could see possible uses. I don't think that using the same set as hair restraint and eating utensil without washing between functions would work well. Lo Mane?! Just no... Definitely worth the purchase, good for beginners and noodle dishes. I put mileage on a grain of rice trying to pick the $&@#% thing up, I refused to be defeated by a starchy grain. It got personal.
