These are used to connect a microphone to devices like snakes, mixers, or audio interfaces. They can also be used as an extension cable. I have 6 of them and 2 at 50 feet in length. I've used them for over 4 years in church service and in studio. No problems. Passes great clear sound.

Q: How "noisy" or "clean" is this product and how does it compare to higher end cables?

I have been using two of these for about 3 years and they have no noise in them. I believe that you can purchase cables that may take more abuse and last longer. I set sound and use these about 40 times a year. They still work well.
