I did not see any 'use by' info on the packaging and it took me at least 12 months of periodic use to finish the tube of paste. It’s been outside for many years** A: You should just be able to use the flitz polish. I would recommend using 00 steel wool to start. However, there might be other polishes designed for boats that might work better. Works great on appliances but use a calcium and rust remover on your sink before this. **Q: Can Flitz be used to remove the haze on the plastic lens on car lights** A: Flitz isn't specifically designed with this in mind, but yes, it will work. It won't scratch or harm the plastic lenses in any way. Just make sure the cloth you apply it with (I prefer a cotton cloth for almost all applications to the newsprint that Flitz says can be used) is soft and clean, because abrasives on the cloth CAN scratch the plastic lens material.
