Vital Proteins, Unflavored Collagen Peptides, 19.3 Ounce

I've tried collagen from several different companies over the years, and none of them tasted very good in a hot beverage, which is how I prefer to drink mine. Some didn't mix well and stayed lumpy, and I even tried a marine collagen that tasted like fish! Needless to say, that didn't last long. I eventually stopped buying collagen altogether. Recently, I decided to give collagen another chance and took a chance on this product. I'm so glad I did! I add fresh mint leaves to a warm cup of low-fat milk and mix in the collagen. It dissolves nicely, and the result is relaxing, comforting, and actually tastes good. It comes in a cardboard container, which I have no issue with. In fact, I appreciate that the company is making an effort to care for the environment.

Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides has been one of the easiest collagen powders I've used. It dissolves well in both hot and cold drinks with very little stirring, and I appreciate that it's truly unflavored. I regularly add it to my morning coffee or smoothies without noticing any change in taste or texture. The powder is fine, mixes smoothly, and doesn't leave behind gritty clumps when blended properly. The container seals well to keep the product fresh, and the included scoop makes it easy to measure the recommended serving. While collagen supplements take consistent use over time and results will vary from person to person, I like that this product uses grass-fed, pasture-raised bovine collagen and contains minimal ingredients. Overall, it's a high-quality collagen powder from a reputable brand that's easy to incorporate into a daily routine.

My hair, nails, and skin have never looked so good and I'm 95% sure it's because of this collagen! I add 4 tablespoons to my cup of drip coffee every morning. It dissolves with minimal stirring and it has NO taste. The only issue I have is with initially opening the environmentally friendly packaging. I first caught this Vital Proteins Collagen Powder on sale at my local Publix on BOGO so decided to give it a try. Full disclosure, I also began taking a NAD+ supplement from ZenUp and an oral collagen supplement from Sanas a couple of weeks before I tried this. I was blown away by the results I had gotten with those two and wanted to up my collagen intake specifically because I fell from the 3rd story of an apartment building as a child and realized, during my first pregnancy, that it had caused me joint issues I was unaware of until then. Anyways, now I'm 50 and recently divorced. After the separation my health took a dive... I wasn't eating and it really affected my physical health, as well as my beauty, before I snapped out of it. All of this was in an attempt to get my health back on track so I could feel well enough to go back to work. Due to the joint pain I often have pain so intense I can't hardly walk. Anyways, after using this powder I noticed outstanding results to not only my mobility, but also to the plumpness and tightness of my skin!! Thinking this result was probably universal to all collagen products, I tried to swap brands on both my capsule supplement and this powder supplement in order to save a bit of money. I ended up trying two other collagen powders from other highly rated brands (Ancient & Nature) that touted 5 different kinds of collagen, thinking that might work EVEN BETTER! Boy... was I wrong. I had a severe allergic reaction to both of them (after some research, I think it's the fish collagen... even though I'm not allergic to any fish that I'm aware of. I read that it's the most likely culprit) I stopped taking them all to let my body recover and immediately had hip pain so bad I couldn't even drive myself to the store. In an act of desperation I ordered this on Amazon hoping it would help. It wasn't supposed to arrive for almost 2 weeks but, in an act of God, I got a notification the NEXT DAY that it was out for delivery!!! Not expecting it to help with the pain, but I started taking this the same day. I always just add a big scoop to my coffee and I don't even notice a flavor nor much of a difference in texture. Kinda smoother I guess. Anyways. Wasn't expecting a miracle but that's exactly what I got. By bedtime of the same my tenderness had decreased only about 10%. Used it 2 or 3 times the next day and by bedtime tenderness had decreased by about 70%. Today, I've used it once and my recovery is at about 90%. Really shocked and pleasantly surprised by the overall results in only 2 days. This product has proven itself to me. 100% It may be more expensive, but if you can swing it, it's definitely worth it. The other powders seemed to dry out my skin as well and I realized it's probably because of the added hyaluronic acid. Oral HA supplements always seem to make my skin dry. Not sure why. 😂 But my skin is recovering well with Vital. Overall I give this supplement a 10/10 for both joint health as well as skin improvements. This dissolves well in water however I did find it on sale this month at Costco $10 cheaper and even regular price is $4 cheaper so I will be buying there from now on.

Ive been using Vital Proteins for a few years. It's made a difference in my hair and skin. My hair is thicker and my skin used to bruise easily. Great improvement

My go-to collagen peptide, no side effects, only noticed improvements in my skin and joint pains. I'll keep buying it. No odor, no taste, mixes well with hot beverages but needs a blender to mix in cold drinks. Easy to mix with all you favorite drinks but I haven't tried foods.

Mi mamá me recomendó tomarlos, cae muy ligera la bebida, realmente no tiene un sabor así que se puede tomar en vaso de agua, la textura de la bebida es ligeramente espesa pero no cambia realmente. Si la recomiendo.
