My kids were making clay sculptures and I used this for the inside base with some foil. It is so easy to bend! Amazing!

I first discovered Sculpture House aluminum armature wire around 1972, when visiting Los Angeles and meeting other special effects creators. I was delighted to find it worked not only for supporting basic sculpts, but was ideal for use in stop-motion puppets as the foundation for being able to support and move the model characters - I braid strands of wire to hold the animation poses in position during filming. I have used other wire but find the the Sculpture House product to be the standard of excellence - for whatever needs I have.

It took a long time to receive the wire, and it was much wider in diameter than expected. It would be for a large armature. I was looking for something to use for a 10 to 12 inch model. This was bigger than I would have liked.
