Don't think so, I have celiac and I get bad headaches if I eat anything that has wheat in it

I have never counted. Possibly 100? That is a guess.

how long is each string? Need to make edible jewelry.

Some are long, and some are short. If you are making edible bracelets you are fine, not sure about necklaces. They taste good though.
