Review: The batteries arrived quickly (relatively speaking during Covid times). They all had some charge already, and each phone showed full battery charge within 18 hours of installation. Cannot comment yet on longevity or overall quality since that cannot be determined until I have a long phone call. Additionally, having only had them in the phones for a day, I cannot attest to the long-term quality. What I can say is that each one worked, charged and appear to be functioning properly. These batteries were very low-cost and certainly fit my budget, and seem to be a good value.

The batteries are exactly the same as the old ones from my land line phones. Having bought these new batteries kept me from buying a new set of phones.

Like most people (I suspect) that came searching for these, I had a set of Panasonic Cordless house phones. I had purchased the extra (up to six) extensions, and have them stationed all over my property (about an acre) for a VOIP line that i have installed. But alas, like most, the batteries eventually wore out to the point that even a single 20 minute phone call would kill it and I would have to run for another extension for about the same amount of time. I can't really complain though - considering those power cells were the original Panasonic ones that came with the phone system when I bought it 10 years ago, I *more* than got my use out of them. So, time to replace - but geez - at almost $4 per battery for true Panasonic brand, I just couldn't see spending almost $50 (2 batteries per extension) with tax for them. That then, led me to find these. BE CAREFUL! don't just search for "Panasonic compatible AAA" or even the model # of your cordless phone! I tried that, and thank god, I looked at the battery specs... I would not have been happy. No, search for your batteries by the model number printed ON THE BATTERY ITSELF to ensure that you get the right set (Panasonic apparently have several AAA batteries but at different ratings and voltages). I can't comment on the battery life since i have only had them for a couple of weeks, but I am so happy with these. They do come with some charge in them, but to make sure everything is good put them in your phone, and slap that phone extension into the charging base for at least 8 hours (preferably overnight) just to make sure. When I got them, mine registered fully charged, but died after about an hour - I was ready to send back, but thought I would give it an overnight just to make sure... so glad I did! The charge has been perfect for days of standby at a time, and I haven't had to run for an another extension or call someone back because they ran out of gas. They come with a great, securely closing carrying case (not needed in my situation) but since I am using all eight in this pack I'll be using that to store some other AAA rechargeable batteries i have. However, even if you don't use them all, these are great to keep on hand and the case ensures you don't lose them. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - I bought one set as a test, but will be buying more for the rest of the extensions today!
