Good investment with a caveat.
Works great for keeping my cargo straps and hitch accessories out of the rain and away from prying eyes. Installation was simple but make sure you follow the instructions. They're there for a reason. After 6 months, the handle that you pull to release the swing-out broke. A little plastic piece at the bottom was originally held on by two tiny little tabs. Those tiny tabs gave way today. I'm not sure why this piece wasn't designed to be secured better. I super glued it back on and it seems to be holding up. If it's fails again, I may just machine one from aluminum and bolt it on. Kind of a dumb design, to be honest.Otherwise, it's a good case! I get lots of compliments about it.

Sorry screws and useless alignment tool for a Chevrolet.
As noted in other reviews, the self tapping screws used to mount the box can strip out the metal in the bed of the truck if you are not careful. I will be replacing them with bolts and a backing plate. One of the screws that mounts the box to the swing assembly snapped the head off before I loaded the box. They will also be replaced with bolts. The foam tool that aligns the latch mechanism is not designed for a Chevrolet. This model box is designed for Chevrolet and Ford pick-ups but you have to move the catch forward to work in the Chevy. The tool is designed to be centered thus will only work on the Ford. A little measuring and aligning and I got it to work properly without the tool. The swing mechanisms are proprietary but the boxes themselves are generic. Undercover should come out with three sizes of box to fit the bed better. In spite of the issues, this fixes the problem I have had with items bouncing around in the back without sacrificing hauling capacity. I just believe that for the price, I should not be spending more money to correct the issue with their screws.

I love it, it has more room in it than ...
To start, I love it, it has more room in it than I expected. But it didn't fit my truck how it said it would. I have a clamp on tonneau cover, and it was hitting the clamps. So I had to do some MacGyvering to get it to work. After getting it installed, I wanted a new key for it because I don't like having plastic headed keys like those it comes with. And from looking around at store close to me, if you ever need a new key for this toolbox it will be easier and quicker to change out the lock on it before you lose the keys. I sent an email to the company and they weren't any help in finding a new key blank. To end more positive, it really has been able to do all that I have planned on it doing and at times going beyond what I wanted it to do. Is the product work the extra work? Yeah I would say it is... Although I don't think I'm changing any locks anytime soon.

Highly functional. Easy install. Plastic gets brittle In the elements?
I installed this driver side model on my 95 F150 in April of 2017. At almost $200, l decided to see how I liked this one before getting its mate. It has decent storage, is easy enough to access, doesn’t take up too much space, and fits easily under cover. I rarely get into the thing and usually don’t keep the bed cover closed. After almost a year I ordered and installed one for the passenger side.Unfortunately, now the driver side has developed a long crack around the side and back. It doesn’t have anything heavy so I don’t think the failure is stress. I can only guess it is from being in the sun.If I knew it wouldn’t last any longer than that, I wouldn’t have gone for them. Now there are holes drilled holes in my truck that we’re not worth the permanent damage or the almost $400 flushed away.
