The springs it had were 17" free standing when I took them out. I took them out because they were horribly stiff, they may as well Just been solid blocks of steel because they had no flex and were beating the crap out of me as I would ride off-road. So I decided to try stock used springs with 2" spacers. That was much softer, great for a month but the front settled and was lower than the rear. So after lots of research I actually called skyjacker and the guy told me everything I needed to know and it was a fast easy phone call. So I decided to get these. So the freestanding hight was 19" on these. I was really afraid these were gonna be stiff horrible springs because they were a hair thicker than my old first springs, but that was not the case at all... These are PERFECT! They really are soft and give you a smooth brand new car feeling. These are way better than the stock springs that were substantially soft compared to the first set of springs but wow these sky jackers are way better. The softest smoothest ride ever .
