I only need to use alarms 1-5, is there a way to disable the other 3 alarms from going off.** A: You can’t turn them off but by not setting them for a time they will not alarm. But what made it very easy for me (and I set up 4 alarms on the first try) was the Set-up Video available by the Seller on the Amazon item's page. I watched and stopped the video at every step with the device in hand. If I didn't understand a step, I backed up the video and watched it again. I never looked at the printed instructions that came with the device, but I am definitely saving them for future reference. Working GREAT for us: 8am, 12noon, 4pm, and 8pm. Alarm lasts 60 seconds, and is an appropriate sound level. Can be silenced by pressing the middle button.
