What's most interesting to me as someone with a chemistry background is the thoughtful ingredient formulation that makes it so effective without damaging delicate surfaces. The cleaning cream relies on a combination of mild abrasives like feldspar and quartz that remove burned-on residue without scratching the glass surface. Unlike other cleaners that use harsh chemicals, this formula incorporates citric acid as the main active ingredient for cutting through grease, which explains why it works so well on oil splatters. The polyethylene-polypropylene glycol and diethelyne glycol monobutyl ether act as effective solvents for breaking down stubborn stains, while xanthan gum provides the perfect consistency so the product stays where you apply it. I've found the ammonia content to be minimal compared to other cleaners - just enough to boost cleaning power without overwhelming smell. The biodegradable formulation (certified by OECD Test 301D) gives peace of mind about environmental impact. I've been particularly impressed with how the thickening agents allow a small amount of product to remain effective - a dime-sized application has been sufficient for cleaning an entire burner area. I accidentally wiped a tea towel onto what was still a hot glass hob. It burned a bit of the towel onto the surface. Using this cream plus the razor and scrubber did the trick. I was a bit nervous using the razor but it’s at the right angle to ensure if you use it carefully you don’t scratch the surface. Very impressed!

I forgot to do a before picture, so the after picture would be pointless. But this product worked great! I've just been using a magic eraser to try to get the cooked on foods off my of glass cook top. The magic erasers did work a little with a lot of elbow grease, but I could never get all the cooked on stuff off. I revived this glass top stove cleaner today and could not wait to use it on my stove. Very simple and easy process with beautiful results. I did have some spots that didn't want to come clean, even with the razor blade. So, I let the product sit in the stove for about 5 min and the stuck in stuff came right off. The price point and speedy delivery in top of the 5 star performance makes this item a must have for all glass you stover users. My stove looks brand new!
