This thing works!!!
I had an older mattress pad that should’ve been replaced a while ago. But I got complacent and figured I would get one eventually. Well, My dog peed on it. It didn’t absorb everything and it took sometime for the mattress to dry. Which is why I am now here, writing this review.This mattress pad is fantastic!It fits great on our king size bed. The cover goes to the edge of the mattress so there isn’t part of the mattress not covered. It’s quiet to sleep on. We don’t hear anything at all. So there isn’t any of that plastic sound if/when we move.Lastly, our girl had another accident yesterday. Now, our dog is a big girl. She weighs 106 pounds. This just means the amount of fluid is way more than a teaspoonful. Our mattress was dry! Woo Hoo!Seriously, if your considering this mattress pad just buy it. You will be glad you did and so will your wallet.

Like a cloud
So my Mom is now bed ridden and I took her out of a very expensive SNF that was so beautiful but the care was equivalent to a Turkish jail. After only two weeks there she had deteriorated and was left to sit in her urine. My husband and I busted her out and took her home with me. Needless to say since she is bed ridden I wanted her super comfy!!! She can't control her urine (three fat babies and old age) so I needed super protection for the hospital bed I bought for her. I used the standard bedbug cover for the entire mattress but wanted something also soft and waterproof. This was amazing so soft and waterproof. It will not protect the sides of the mattress so if there is a big Exxon Valdez water break the mattress will get wet, that's why I recommend buying a cover that covers the entire mattress for the big pee festivals.

The product I received was a cheap substitution for the product I thought I ordered.
The article I ordered said the cover of the mattress cover was was 100% cotton sateen but the the product I got was 100% polyester knit. Very poor quality which is why I am returning the cover.

Would Recommend!
I was a bit nervous about washing and drying this but it turned out beaitifully!! It is a snug fit on my queen bed because I have an extra thick mattress. Would definitely recommend. I have a super capacity front loading washer and dryer and it came out perfect!

It’s a big thicker than I thought
100% cotton, feels very soft but it’s a bit thicker than I thought. Better to use it in fall/winter rather than in summer.
