Stylish for outdoors
This was a great choice for my new back porch Edition to be able to have something waterproof yet stylish. Installed easily and well made. My electrician had recommended the ugly industrial switch style that go with toggles and was so impressed when I showed him this one that I wanted.

Needs tweaking to work with smart switches
So all the switches are smart switches, and I needed a way to protect them outside. At first these did not work. They are designed for positive contact in either direction. Smart switches need a temporary tap up or down...If you are handy and willing to void the warranty, you can remove the outside plastic toggle. Inside you will see a metal piece that comes out with needle nose pliers. Then sanding off the nubs that also hold it in position finishes the customization. It takes a little thought and finesse and again will void the warranty.The great part is that I did not touch the actual rubber membrane so my switches are safe and operate as designed.Final disclaimer, I am in Arizona where it does not rain as much.After the adaptation I really like the look of these switches and they operate perfectly.

Works perfectly
I used these for a covered patio, but the humidity had corroded the previous switches. I bought this switch cover, and it looks great. It seals the replaced switches very well. It has worked seamlessly since. I am glad I found these, as the flip-up covers would have been ugly and inconvenient.

You need to make sure you tighten It tight enough to actually move the underlying switches, but it totally works and a million times more attractive than the toggle switches.

Excellent quality. Works very well. Remember , these just fit over top of regular switches that are mounted in a waterproof box. They are not stand alone switches per se.

Unique solution!
Easy to install. Switches are a little stiff but a good unique solution for an outdoor switch. Even has little rubber washers for the screws for added protection.
