Uncle Goose Classic ABC Blocks - Made in The USA

Great quality! Love the variety of designs on each side. Soft wood so the edges dont hurt our little one. We play with this regularly and it has held up well.

We bought these for our son who is two after doing a bunch of research on nontoxic toy brands. Uncle Goose came up as one of the best brands. These blocks are the cutest thing ever and I love that they come from a family business and made in the US. They are colorful without being over the top ugly like most and have animals, numbers and letters on all sides of the cubes... such a great learning toy for our boy! These will be great to pass down to all of our kids and would be such a cute gift as well! These also come in a bunch of other varieties and languages. If we weren’t on a strict budget with two kids, I’d buy them all up!

These blocks are even more beautiful in person than pictured! I can’t say enough nice things about this toy. I love that it’s made in the US. I specifically bought this toy because of how beautiful it is and well-made. I intend to save these after their use for my grandchildren. This is definitely heirloom quality. There are so many ways that these blocks can be used. There are numbers, arithmetic operations, animals and the alphabet. These blocks can be used for so many educational purposes. Learning words/spelling, counting/math, learning animals, stacking and sorting.

These are exactly as you remember them. Beautiful, real wood, carved and printed in nice primary colors. That said you must follow the cleaning instructions exactly. I bought a new set because the older set, also uncle goose, were ruined when stored for sometime using tape to hold them on a wood wagon (which was how they were sold at the time. The tape left a sticky residue on the top of the top row of blocks. Only goo off would remove the residue and it also removed the color on the stamped blocks. The carved side is fine, see pic 1. But the stamped side was ruined. This company does sell replacement blocks. In my case so many were ruined it was worth buying a new set. It was my own fault but still. Keep the blocks away from anything sticky and follow cleaning instructions exactly. Never clean with a chemical cleaner like GooOff. My new blocks are exactly like the old ones, except a few pictures are slightly different. They are the same size and fit in the old wood wagon exactly. Thank you for making this wonderful classic toy.

Great USA made quality with fun animals that my kids learned quick while playing with the blocks

Don’t listen to the reviews complaining about bits of wood flaking, etc. these blocks are beautiful and solid! They are a true wooden toy so of course there are variances in appearance and occasional flakes, but that’s what you’re going to get whenever you have intricate carving. I’m saving these for my baby once he gets out of the “everything in my mouth” stage just to save unnecessary wear and tear, but this would be perfect for any child who can be trusted to (mostly) not chew on their toys. With supervision he loves to look at all the colors and animals. This is exactly as advertised: lovely, American-made, wooden alphabet blocks with darling animals.

These are wooden blocks.They don't do anything. They don't make sounds or light up or walk around or pay music from Frozen. They are just wooden blocks. Which is fine. They are made in the United States. As in Michigan. The colors are vibrant and clean. The typography is crisp and classic and timeless without looking trendy. As stated, these are wood. Solid wood. So if your child is wont to throwing things, these might not be a good idea. The edges are crisp but not sharp. The corners are not rounded. If someone gets hit in the head with one of them, it will probably hurt. These are made from pine, which is a "soft" wood. So if your child is teething or likes to chew on things, these might not be the blocks for you. If you have a puppy, your puppy might take to chewing on them. Having said all of that, if you are looking for classic, plain, simple wooden blocks, these are the ones to buy.Yes, they are kind of spendy. Because they're made here in the United States by Americans getting paid American wages. Which is a good thing because you are quite literally helping the American economy by buying these.

These are gorgeous blocks. I don’t hesitate to call them heirloom quality even though I’m sure they will get plenty of play and will be well loved. So happy I found these, made in the USA and a perfect toy. Every child should have a good set of wood blocks. They are such a great source of creative play beginning with the little ones through toddler ages and well into childhood. Thank you for such a wonderful, large, well made set of real wood blocks.
