These come in pairs. **Q: how to choose the size?** A: The insoles are made so you can cut them to your shoe size, per example the one that says size 8-14 it fits for all those sizes and when you open them you will see a line that shows the correct size for you, I am size 8 so I had to cut the extra part of the insole to feet my shoe. **Q: Can these be put over top of original sole? Or is it to be replaced with this?** A: You can do either. If the original insole has some cushioning and you want the most padding then leave the first one in. As a side note these will probably need some trimming around the outer edge to fit it in the shoe.
