Q: can you remove links to make it smaller?

Yes you can remove the links but the strap is not good quality so I'd rather suggest that you get rid of the strap and by yourself a new leather strap and make the watch look really beautiful.

Q: does this watch have a stainless steel case?

Yes it is a steel case and it is surprisingly a hefty watch. The bracelet is really bad, you may want a racing striped NATO band with that. I did that.

Q: Where i can purchase the "gulf racing colors" nylon strap ( lt. blue w/ black edged orange stripe- used by michael jeffers) ? so far, no luck here ???
