I have all the flavors. Once I heard about yaupon I was really excited to be able to order this tea on Amazon. Its a great mild flavor, mildly sweet. Not at all bitter like black or green tea. Gives a nice boost and not jittery. I can drink a cup after 3pm and it won't keep me up. I'm pregnant so I like the "Yaupon Pick Me Up" flavor the best because it doesn't have any strong smell to it. Once I'm not pregnant, I will probably drink the mint "Self Care" all the time.

First, I really enjoy the flavor. It is smokey and reminds me of Thai iced tea. Second, I read that the caffeine content of Yaupon is somewhere between black tea and coffee. But to be honest, it doesn't feel like there is very much caffeine at all. It feels like there is less than black tea. That might be good for people, but I was hoping for more caffeine than black tea.

Coincidentally(?) lost over a pound with one cup a day with lunch. Less hungry at night????? Take the ten minutes to steep it before drinking. Nowhere near as strong as the Turkish black tea. We like it unsweetened. I drank something similar, yerba mate, when we were in Argentina. It is a relative of Yaupon. This bush/tree grows wild in the US. Has many of the same beneficial food elements as raw chocolate. Trying to reorder. Hope things get better in Texas.

Yayaya Yaupon is sooo good! I love tea and I love coffee, but I have always been looking for something that has the health benefits and soothing of herbal tea with a little bit of the boost I get from coffee. This is what I’ve been looking for! Not only that, but the light rose petal flavor takes me to a secret garden. Highly recommend Yayaya Yaupon and I can’t wait to try the other flavors!

I love yaupon tea and have tried many brands. It’s a tea in its own herbal category with the plus that it can’t be oversteeped and doesn’t become bitter. This one however lacks the herbal yaupon flavor and tastes more like a regular smoky black tea or a puer tea; the rose flavor is hardly noticeable- you might as well just buy black tea bags at a much lower price! The bitterness makes me want to add honey and milk which also evades the point of a delicious tea to drink as is.The directions to steep 10-15 minutes is strange as most companies recommend around 5 minutes and then you can re-steep it a couple times.If you want yaupon that tastes like yaupon I recommend The Yaupon Brothers Fire Roasted and Florida Chai versions. Catspring Yaupon is also good- no bitterness and no need for sweeteners.

I dont like it. Its drinkable but tastes like regular black tea to me. anyone who wants a good yaupon tea, try a bunch of diff ones - pick what u like. Im sure a lot of u may like this. Its just not for me

This is my first time trying Yaupon tea and I really liked it. The instructions state to steep it about 10-15 minutes. I steeped it for 12.5 minutes and added a little bit of local honey. It was a perfect combination! I loved the earthy, smooth flavor of the tea. It smells great, too! The aroma stays in your cup and you can’t smell it across the room like coffee. I will be buying more of this product!

I was able to get my husband to drink it with me despite it not being, "Fresh & Minty". Because it doesn't taste overly earthy, he likes it as do I. Although, I am fine with earthy!
