Works really well. Great features and video. Some issues with the live view functioning on my iPhone with cellular service enabled. In airplane mode it worked fine. Worked flawlessly on my non-cellphone iPad. Downloading clips and viewing them worked fine with cellular service on. Not really sure I would ever need to be viewing the live feed anyway on my phone.

trash! quit after less than a year. does not work without an internal battery. mount is impossible to get straight on the windshield. they changed the plug for the rear camera so now i have to spend another $120 to reinstall a new rear cam.

I was getting on the freeway onramp when the other guy moved directly into my lane, forcing me off the road-and then he clipped me. Thankfully I had installed both the front and rear dashcam. The guy claimed it was my fault, and the dashcam proved otherwise. This is NOT a cheap dashcam, but you get what you pay for-in this case it saved me my deductible ($1,000) and saved me from being ruled at fault. Awesome picture quality.

I bought this to replace a 422G because the old one gave me trouble with the SD card and it would never connect to my phone. I've had the same thing happen with this one a few times and I bought a different SD card especially made for long-term storage. That has worked better. The 622GW also connects to my phone without and trouble. This is a nice dashcam with many features and great resolution. I only wish it would connect to the cloud for unattended uploads accessible anywhere. It sure costs enough to support that feature.

Using two units, one on my car, one on the wife's car. Easy to install, easy to set-up. Using since 2 years, delivers all functions as advertised. Very much satisfied, and just ordered another one for my son's car.

WARNING!!! Do not buy this product unless the seller is an official retailer of Nextbase. How would you know you might ask? Well you can't and they won't tell you! I purchased this dash cam from Clier Sales on Amazon. It worked for about 7 months. I then it had a malfunction. I contacted Nextbase and they informed me that Clier Sales was not an official retailer for Nextbase and they could not honor the 1 year limited warranty. I was out of luck. I contacted Amazon several times and all they did was send a message to the Clier who kept responding that the 30 day return window had passed and to call the manufacturer. It was like a broken record. The product was decent but what happened was not right. Never got a replacement or any warranty coverage. BEWARE!!!!

I've had several Dashcams... all cheap junk. This camera received top reviews by consumer reports.... it beat several cameras costing considerably more. My ONLY complaint is: The installation manual. It is one of those EU pictionary manuals which I hate. One step shows a piece of paper on the dash and a hand turning the lens. Initially I thought the camera required focusing... it took me several minutes of fooling around to realize that turning the polarizing filter eliminated reflections off of items you have on top of the dash of your car... pretty slick feature... except they never mention the purpose of the ring on the front of the camera. This camera is made in UK.... there's no reason for the crappy quick start pictorial. If your selling a product worldwide... provide a manual that Describes what's happening in the pictorial images. A small gripe as it does not affect the camera...which is excellent Highly recommended.

Mount stopped working in Texas in weeks... they sent me a suction cup mount which lasted a while but finally failed... tried to get a replacement mount but they dont have any in stock for the last 6 months... buit they are giving me a 15% discount on the replacement mount when they get it in again.... FIND ANOTHER COMPANY I have a $4000 dashcam that cant be used because they dont have the mounts in stock

I’ve been very impressed with the Nextbase 622GW. The 4K UHD footage is excellent, with a level of detail that makes number plates, road signs and important moments much clearer than many other dash cams I’ve used. The image stabilisation also makes recordings smoother, especially on rough roads. The 140° wide-angle lens gives a great view of the road without excessive distortion, and the low-light performance is particularly good for night driving. The Super Slow Motion feature is a useful addition for reviewing incidents in detail. Très bonne dashcam. Au début associée avec le module additionnel arrière directement monté sur la dashcam, mais la vue prise par cette caméra arrière comporte surtout les passagers de la voiture ce qui la rend peu utile, sauf si on veut filmer l'intérieur du véhicule. Dans mon cas, ce module arrière a été retourné chez Amazon. De façon générale, pour être efficace, la dashcam arrière doit être fixée sur la lunette arrière obligeant alors à tirer un câble vers la dashcam avant. Pas pratique. Pour cette dashcam avant, montage très facile et surtout, elle peut être facilement retirée de son support grâce aux connecteurs aimantés. Pas besoin du filtre polarisant supplémentaire car déjà intégré sur la dashcam. Par ailleurs, très bonne application sur mobile (iPhone) et très bon player sur iMac. Du point de vue montage du fil d'alimentation de la dashcam, dans certaines voitures il n'est pas possible de glisser un fil dans les garnitures, d'où l'emploi de petits clips trouvés sur Amazon. Bonne qualité d'enregistrement et commandes simples compatibles Alexa. Également, le support technique Nextbase répond toujours aux questions posées. Pour conclure, après avoir essayé plusieurs modèles de marques différentes (retournés rapidement chez Amazon...), c'est la dashcam la plus complète et la plus facile à utiliser, ce qui justifie son prix.

Klasse Gerät. Es gibt ein Youtube Video indem sich jemand beschwert, dass keine Dashcam bei einem Unfall das Kennzeichen richtig erfassen kann. Dieser Youtuber versteht wohl nicht, dass es darum geht den Unfall-Hergang nachvollziehen zu können, um die Schuld des anderen nachweisen zu können. Das Kennzeichen wird dann schon durch die Polizei aufgenommen. Allerdings scheint das Gerät Probleme mit dem Akku zu haben. Es soll zum Teil am mitgelieferten Zigarettenanzünder-Lader liegen, der wohl nicht genug Saft liefert. Gerade wenn die Park Option eingeschaltet ist, ist der Akku immer leer. Ansonsten bin ich trotzdem sehr zufrieden mit dem Teil, weil die Bildqualität sehr gut ist.
