Oriental Furniture Love Birds on Traditional Gold Leaf

It looks like I received a second-hand item, many scuffs and discoloration all over the painting .The item was old , delivered to Singapore about two years ago from the USA….Disappointed.

It's quite beautiful, well made and carefully packaged - came quickly. Highly recommended. One caution: Watch for the small 2" x 2" or so white packet containing two brass brackets used for hanging. Easily mistaken for moisture absorbing stuff often found in packages. To mount buy a packet of the 40 pound brass nail things that have an angled disk that ends up flush with the wall. Perfect and unobtrusive.

This is a simple painting, but beautiful none-the-less. It has some imperfections, but for the price it can't be beat (have seen gold leaf paintings range anywhere from $1300 to $4000). I have a dimly lit bedroom and I placed it above my queen size bed. It is beautiful with the right end table lamps. I am very happy with this purchase.

I really like the screen. However, there were three small wrinkles on the left bottom screen where the paper was attached. It isn't noticeable from a distance but up close they can be seen. I am a rather particular person so it bothers me a little. I did choose to keep the screen rather than go through the hassle of sending everything back.When the company prepared the item it should have been checked for imperfections before it was shipped. In spite of this issue, it is a lovely piece.
