My go to dressing!
I have a port and from the start struggle with itch and rashes. IV3000 is the best! Even the “hypoallergenic” dressings at the hospital caused a rash and skin break down for me. Not to mention the discomfort when removing them. Not only does IV3000 not cause a rash, but it comes of much more gently!! It came highly recommended amongst support groups and I am so glad I invested. I kind of wish it was the go to at the hospital since it comes off gentle and even the average Joe can benefit from that. Remember to review the steps before applying the dressing. And when pealing the top layer off, make sure to press down the corner of the clear dressing your peeling from because that keeps it from lifting while you peel the last layer. The corners lift and don’t stay down well after if you aren’t careful to separate the dressing from the top layer. If you’re careful with this step and especially if you apply skin prep before applying the dressing, it sticks very well. It also helps to pat it down well applying pressure for warmth to make sure the top layer pulls away from the dressing. I stay accessed 4-5 days a week and it last well and if very comfortable. After you remove the dressing I recommend wiping away residue with baby oil.I use these smaller ones for accidentally lifted corners, to case the spot where the catheter leaves the dressing, and underneath my grip lock and tubie tape (to prevent rash). I use the 4 inch size for the main dressing. You might be able to do this size for a hickman though.

Stay intact
I reacted to tegaderm and bought these instead. They’ve worked great and stay intact. I keep it on for 3-4 days before I switch it out.

iv 3000 2 3/8” x 3 3/4 “
I had ordered one box of the sterile patches that I use on my infusion set. I changed the infusion set every three days and I go through two pets each time. I attach a new one to my body. I received an open package but no pads and Amazon made good and I got the second order complete by the next day.

A must have for use with my Tandem insulin pump
With my level of physical activity, these adhesive dressings are critical to wearing my Tandem insulin pump and keeping the infusion site intact and stuck on my skin. I would give them 5 stars except that sometimes the dressing does not peel off the backing very easily. Key is to apply, smooth down with my finger over every inch of the backing, and then peel the backing away. Even then, I occasionally have to pull the dressing away from the backing and when that happens, the bit that I have had to touch does not stick down. They are a bit pricey and my insurance does not cover then as they are an optional item needed for pump usage.

SAVED MY FINGER
Had a terrible accident with a very powerful power tool, my fault for improper use and I amputated my left index finger tip. I found a unconventional use recently released report on finger amputation procedure video on youtube using these IV bandages on my finger tip to retain natural healing body fluids ( key factor in saving my finger). My finger tip didn't grow back internal tissue, it is obvious some is missing, but it did allow skin to grow over the tip, limiting any further amputation surgically, never even went to the doctor, used these as described along with proper cleaning and disinfecting and it's been a year, it's healed nicely and some of the feeling has returned.

Will buy agian!
Update, have bought agian, dependable good stuff. Perfect for my pic line n now port and covering medicine patches and anything else for sensitive skin to better secure stuff. I'm allergic to everything else. They are really good price too and fast shipping. As described. Not big eng for aport pic itself alone but I use them to extra seal around line or if my big one didn't hold in spots as well.

Works ok
Bought this as an alternative to Tegaderm, which I’m allergic to. They are very thin and very sticky so hard to get off the skin, tegaderm was much easier to handle. Does work though. Package arrived in good shape.
