I love a saltine that does not go stale easily and these are amazing. I keep the box in the fridge, but the open pack I put a twistee tie on, and when I want cheese and crackers, or smoked fish dip, or anything dippable I grab these. Amazing how fresh they stay.

Thin, crispy, perfectly baked - - the best saltine cracker out there. The flavor is subtle, the texture is very delicate, and there's not a hint of that "stale" taste most grocery-store saltines are cursed with these days. Crumble 'em up for a great breading for fish, chicken, or pork chops. Smash 'em into your soup for a great thickening agent that doesn't overstep the flavor of even the most delicate vegetable-based soups or consommé's. We used to buy these many moons ago, but they're no longer available in our local grocery stores. Thanks, Amazon!

These are crispy! I’ve tried every brand from the supermarket, and all of them have just been vaguely crispy. These are wonderfully crispy just like they were years ago. I bought a whole case of them and will be buying these from now on!!

I always feel that Sunshine bakery products get overlooked and underappreciated. These have a quiet dignity and a terrific wholesome flavor and freshness. I usually just eat them with chili or soup or chicken a la king, but there is so much more you can do. I could probably eat them by themselves straight from the box. Although the ones I had were very salty. I guess be careful what you wish for, since I went looking for ones with more salt than the competitor's brand. They;d be good with cheese and sausage as a snack. Maybe peanut butter. If you are going to make these into festive seasoned holiday party crackers do not add salt, just ranch seasoning and a little red pepper and oil.

When I buy food in the grocery store I always check the expiration date. I’m looking for the freshest product I can find with long expiration date ahead. These crackers were close to the expiration date and did not taste very fresh. I was very disappointed since I ordered two boxes. I didn’t get a good value because they will be expired way before I can finish them.

Last time I wanted to order, it required ordering a case. There's only 2 people in the house!

I debated a while before ordering these because they are kind of fragile, but my shipment had no problems. Ha, maybe I'd trust Amazon and UPS more than the people they've got working down at the grocery store.Another reason I debated ordering was of course, the salt, and of course being "SALTines", there's a bunch of it. I haven't compared a lot of other snacks, but strangely enough these have less salt that other alternatives. I guess because there's no other tastes that they have to mask, the little bit of salt the do have comes right on through. I don't normally worry about such things as health and nutrition, but 12 boxes is a lot, and I tend to chow down on a lot of them because they're so good!Plenty of time left on the expiration date, 8 months from now, so that's not a worry.Prices, as with everything, fluctuate, but I got a good deal.
