Inexpensive, but Works Well and Solidly Constructed.
The arrival of warmish weather coincided with the arrival of the backup camera I bought from Amazon last Sunday so I took the time to install it in our Class C camper. I've always wanted to know what was going on behind me, especially when backing up. Also, we often pull a trailer with a couple of motorcycles on it, and keeping an eye on that as well was a priority. In case anyone's interested, here's how I installed it:We already had a deck with video input capabilities so we didn't buy a monitor with our camera, but we wanted an easy and clean setup so we ordered a WiFi adaptor as well, to transmit the camera signal to the radio/monitor. The camera and WiFi transmitter was very inexpensive. I paid about $60 all told for both. The Wifi receiver plugs into the back of the radio. Power to the receiver comes from the power wire into the radio. The receiver's video out goes into the radio input.I didn't want to drill holes in the camper body to install the camera outside, so I decided instead to use a suction mount on the inside of the rear window. I had some spare RAM mount parts kicking around, so I used those.I hooked up a temporary power source to the camera's WiFi transmitter and was satisfied with the picture I was getting from the location I had chosen.I looked for a suitable place to get power from, and settled on one of the light fixtures in the ceiling of the camper. The fixture was held in place by wood screws so those came out easily. The light fixture was wired in with a couple of marrettes (wire nuts) so I took those off and hooked the wiring from the transmitter back into there, being careful of polarity, and put the marrettes back on.I used a small round file to put a notch in the fixture base so it wouldn't pinch the wiring when I screwed the fixture back to the ceiling. I also put a knot in the wiring as a strain relief, in case someone tugged on the wiring later on, so it wouldn't pull apart.I'm happy to say it's working perfectly!

Very good product.
This camera works flawlessly. The picture quality is quite clear, and it was easy to install. The trigger wire attached to the RCA made wiring it a breeze. Have yet to try it in low light conditions, but I'm assuming it will be great.
