Crayola Oil Pastels, Assorted Colors, 16 Count

These are the softest, most blendable ol pastels I've ever used. The colors are vivid and beautiful. I like them so much I just bought the 24 pack to go with the 16. The only suggestion I have is that it would be nice if there were two blacks and two whites.

I had these as a kid and so did my Mom; We both remember playing with them all these years later! Bought these for my 6 year-old brother and he loves them!! He likes the way they smear and blend into each other. Different textures of papers give a different effect. They do get all over his fingers, (because they are so soft), and he has a tendency to wipe them against his shirt and pants without thinking, so we put old stained clothes on him to avoid the staining to his good duds. I would stay on a table with these for that reason also; down on the floor on the carpet is not the place for these! But all-in-all I would highly recommend these be bought for every kid at least once in their childhood...they are just that much fun!!

These pastels are great. I'm a wannabe artist and keep trying different media. Although I'm not that attracted to oil pastels, I thought for the price I might as well try Crayola's. I don't know how they compare to student or artist grade oil pastels, but for the colors of these pastels, they are well worth the price. Of the paper I've tried them on the colors and coverage have been best on newsprint so far. I'm so happy with these, I just ordered the 28 piece size. They have also led me to Crayola's many other products. Crayola is not just crayons now and not just for kids. They have a large variety of ways to put color down

i mean its more waxxy and weird and big but yall know that. i love it for my art but thats an opinion

I’m so glad I purchased these my intention was to use it on wooden letters for my boys names and it worked perfectly and for the price even better you can use them on paper etc and all the pieces came in tact and new even though on some other reviews person said some were broken and old

Purchased this for my daughter who loves to create. I figured this would give her a chance to use artist tools and learn different styles of art. She is 6 and made a rainbow with a unicorn leaving a trail of diamonds. It’s very pretty and bright. The colors are bold and won’t disappoint.

I used this for a Birthday gift for a 4 year old with colorful high quality construction paper. This is a great variation from standard crayons. Wonderful open ended art tools to keep little fingers busy.

The product itself was fine but the box was torn badly and was wet. If it would have been a gift, I would have had to send it back. Thank you

Soy fan incondicional de Crayola, y funcionan bastante bien como pasteles. Muy recomendable para los que somos principiantes en el dibujo con pasteles.

Exactly what I needed

the oil pastels were of good quality as expected. but they were not intact. one of them was broken.

My daughter loves it, colour are very bright, just very fragile, so don't push too much. Little bit messy but nothing what washing machine can't clean it. Definitely buy again. 5 stars for me

I like to use crayola, but I only manged to buy a pack of 16 colour.
