No, its adult size. It's two wide for the kids ears.

Are these masks extra large or large?

They will adjust to a larger person head. One head would have to be pretty big for this mask not to fit around the head. around the nose area should be ok

When you place the filter inside, push the riffle cap threw the hole. The cloth will not be a perfect circle but the inside lock cap will still insert. Give it a quarter turn from the inside an it will lock. Do not expect a perfect hole in the mask, it will still be a secure fit.
