No Brainer! Great Components, Great Perfomance, Great Price! Upgrade with no hesitation.
I just upgrade my graphics card, from a rtx 3070 to a RX 6900, had a 750 watts psu evga, and need it to upgrade so my gpu could draw more power, at least 800 watts, so I went to amazon and see all the options available, and when I found this option, I just bought it Immediatly. Have been using MSI products for more than 10 years now, and there is no complaint. This psu is great, silent, stable, no drops; came with every cable I need it (at least 3 pci, came with 5), and the performance of my build has been outsanding, I have a 3900x ryzen and a powerful 6900x gpu with 32 gigs of ram 3200 gskill trident and a lot of rgb, and there is no issue. Can recommend it enough, great product!

Works Fine
I Bought this for my Zotac 4070 ti trinity OC because it was recommended for it. So far using this product it has provided all the essential power and it is very quiet. Manual is clear for users who are now building a pc for easy to plug in since its full modular. I highly recommend this or the cosair 2021 should you need a upgrade

Great Power Supply, fully modular at a great price.
I have been building computers for over 20 years. This is the first MSI PSU I've used in a build and I don't think I will use any other PSU, because they are a great value. I've never had issues with Antec or Thermaltake, but they are a good bit more expensive than MSI.This PSU is pretty quiet. It comes with plenty of cables and they fit securely to the PSU. I put this into a Corsair 7000D Airflow case and it fit without issue. This is a great PSU for the money.

Pairs great with MSI Z690-A Motherboard
This PSU pairs great with my MSI Z690-A motherboard. The 850 provides more than enough power to my graphics card (3080) and CPU (12900k), even while overclocking. This PSU easily fits inside a midsize tower and runs very quietly. Comes with more than enough connecting cables and a handy storage case for the unused ones as well. Have had for a week now and has fulfilled all of my needs for it. All in all, great purchase so far.

Great PSU with plenty of power for the average gamer
So to preface this, I've only had this power supply for around a week. I had ordered this from Amazon on November 25th and it wasn't delivered until December 13th - so in the meantime I had a very expensive paperweight waiting to be powered - this is a big reason why I removed a star from the rating. What you need to know when ordering this power supply: it's fully modular and has plenty of power for the vast majority of gaming rigs. My computer is running a 3070 TI graphics card and an i9-13900KF, and has power leftover - I haven't experimented with overclocking yet however. The build quality of the power supply seems phenomenal and all the cables are provided (as they should be, you may not use them all). The manual is lackluster and lacks any wording, but is easy enough to follow - it's plug and play). Coil whine is imperceptible, if there is any. It's dead silent to me at least. My one problem with this power supply is the GPU power cables are a little bit short if you're trying to have a clean, cable-managed setup. You'll have enough to connect with a little left over, but don't stretch it any further. I wanted to route my cables OVER the GPU (Opposite side of it's fans) and into a passthrough, but the cables didn't facilitate this set up.If you're looking for RGB, you wont find it here, but if you're looking for quality? This is the power supply you want.

PC go brrrrrrrrr
Pretty pleased with how this fit into my system, might have been a bit overkill but if I ever want to upgrade stuff down the line, the power supply won't, or at least shouldn't be, an issue. Its quiet and works with my build well, one thing that gave me trouble was the 24 pin connector to the motherboard, it was really hard to plug in, not sure if this is a fault of the cables with the power supply or thr connector on the motherboard but other than that it was all easy enough to install.

Brand Name Value
This is my first modular PSU. More power than I need with my 1080 but hopefully I'll get a new graphics card in the next year LOL. I never understood how people did cable management before these. I've always liked the clean minimal cable showing look. Even easier now with these things I would imagine. Certainly worked for me. I love it. It does not get hot in my case's basement and there are plenty of cables to add stuff in the future. I like the design on it as well but mine is hidden in the basement. Seems to be a pretty good price for a brand name 800 Watt PSU. No audible noise in my setup from this PSU. And yeah it's in the basement but I did have it sitting out on the desk while I was testing everything and I still couldn't hear it over anything else.RYZEN 5 5600Samsung 980 M.2Samsung 1Tb ssdPatriot 500GbGTX 1080

Good Power Supply
I have just bought the power supply . The psu came in a very nice packaging and is giving a premium feel. There is a separate bag which contains all the cables and the cables have a nice feel to them. My only complaint for the product would be the main power cable. The plug of the cable is international.

Little expensive, but very reliable and easy to work with
The power supply comes in a very fancy box, which contains a royal truck load of cables and twist ties, a very easy to use setup guide, and the power supply itself. The power supply has a nice black color, which is contrasted by “MAG, A850GF” and the scary MSi dragon. Aah!!It seems very efficient, though certainly not as efficient as it could be.The fan is also extremely silent, yet still moves a great amount of air around.Would recommend getting something cheaper though

One of the good psu under $150
Pros: One of the best psu you could find in its price range. It's more than enough for a 5800X+3070 build and is future-proof, and the price is very attractive compared to the other 80+ Gold Certified, Fully Modular Power Supplies. This is a good power supply and has all the connectors that one would need for a good gaming build. Even has a floppy drive connector. I like that it's not too long, at 160mm I was able to have a bit more space below for cables and stuff.Cons: It should be better with sleeved- cables
