La prima e ciò che avrebbe dovuto essere l'unica cassa, la acquistai un mese prima di questa, con la prospettiva di sostituire la pur ottima FBT Jolly 8 che già possedevo ed usavo per amplificare la mia Roland V-Drum.Ricordo che fu l'unica tra tante provate, di svariate marche, potenze e dimensioni, ad incuriosirmi per la bontà e ricchezza del suono che ne usciva.Portata a casa e provata piuttosto frettolosamente, prima cablata allo smartphone, poi in bluetooth tramite un accessorio già in possesso (la prima è una B115 Mp3, senza bluetooth integrato), mi stupì, prima per lo straordinario (...per non dire devastante) SPL che riusciva a ricreare in ambiente domestico, poi, ad un ascolto più attento e sempre più interessato e scrupoloso, posizionata in svariati modi,altezze e stanze diverse, ebbi, anche grazie ai consigli di un amico, la felice intuizione che sarebbe stato opportuno e meritevole averla provata collegata cablata, magari con un cavo appropriato, ad una sorgente più seria.Con un cavo volante stereo di 5 metri, prima a terra e poi addossata in parete sopra una sedia, con i 2 canali inseriti nel singolo diffusore e miscelati allo stesso volume, la feci andare finalmente, grazie all'uscita pre, con il mio Naim Unitiqute 2.Il risultato, dapprima con la radio DAB+, poi con la radio internet e stazioni a 320 Kbps e via via con una chiavetta USB e file immagazzinati in alta risoluzione, fu talmente entusiasmante da farmi pensare li su due piedi, cosa sarebbe stato con due diffusori finalmente in stereo!Di li a qualche settimana dopo la decisione e l'acquisto, qui, su Amazon, del secondo diffusore, con bluetooth integrato stavolta, vista la praticità d'uso eventuale con uno smartphone nel caso di qualche evento festaiolo od altro all'aperto...Ebbene, oggi, ad un paio di mesi dall'acquisto, è con grande piacere che posso dire non solo di sentirmi PIENAMENTE SODDISFATTO, ma.....STUPITO....per quanta emozione e puro godimento possano dare 2 diffusori di questo tipo, ad un simile prezzo, inseriti in un contesto (shock), così severo e "bacchettone" come l'hi-end!Non s'intenda con ciò che queste pur generosissime Behringer possano in qualche maniera sfatare miti o riscrivere standard, ci mancherebbe, resta il fatto che per alcuni generi musicali quali l'ambient, la musica elettronica ma anche dance, pop, rock, disco, sfoderano una grinta, un potere d'impatto e una dinamica, che in decenni di dedizione e passione più o meno intervallati ad altro nel tempo, non avevo mai avuto il piacere di provare.La forma del diffusore è snella ed elegante e le dimensioni sono compatte e molto ben strutturate.La scarsa profondità e il reflex tipicamente anteriore, ne permettono una facile collocazione in prossimità di pareti e in presenza di spazi limitati. La tromba del driver a compressione sfrutta al meglio tutto lo spazio a disposizione sia in profondità che agli estremi arrivando ai bordi orizzontali e verticali, lambendo in basso, con un abile piano ricurvo molto azzeccato il profilo superiore del woofer, componente quest'ultimo che con i suoi ben 15 pollici, riesce a restituire, praticamente in condizione di "sottolitraggio", ben 45 Hertz dichiarati sulla carta, e credetemi, che ci sono tutti e forse anche più!Infine l'involucro in materiale plastico, leggero, gradevole al tatto, insospettabilmente robusto e sorprendentemente insensibile a sollecitazioni anche severe, di buona qualità, con buonissime finiture e maniglie in colore diverso, incastrate ad arte e posizionate perfette per l'uso.(da continuare)

Only had it for a few days now, but this thing is freaking amazing. We are having a wedding in august, and needed a way to easily play music and amplify voice to the entire yard, and projecting sound outside is difficult. This speaker is way powerful enough to give great sound everywhere, and setup is incredibly easy. I have a google nexus 5, and the bluetooth connection goes easily over 50-75 feet. I can set the BT input volume fairly high on the speaker, then control volume on my phone (when playing through BT, the volume rockers will control the volume of the bt sound). Even at low levels, i don't hear any distortion or degradation of the sound (as opposed to feeding a small analog signal to an amp where the volume is high, where your SNR goes way down and you hear lots of noise). Using BubbleUPNP on the phone, i have access to my music collection on my server in the basement, and bubble lets you create playlists, and streams the music it gets through wifi, back out through bluetooth to the speaker.It's solidly built, and not TOO heavy. And since it's all self-contained, it's very easy to move it around, you just need a power connection to it. Also, it uses a standard computer/monitor power cable, which means you can easily replace that if anything happens to it.Overall, i am incredibly impressed. I bought it at C$460, but it's way worth the new C$520 price it now sells for.a few caveats to keep in mind: 1) it'll happily pair wirelessly with another B115W, output one channel of a stereo stream and ship the other channel to the other. But it'll ONLY do that with another B115W. *AND*, it has an XLR mixed output (which means, stereo has already been mixed down to mono), but has no stereo output. This means you can't just buy 1 B115W to stream bluetooth sound to it, and buy a second, non-wireless but much cheaper B115, thinking you'll wire that one through an XLR cable. It'll work fine - they all have 2 XLR inputs - but you'll get 2x mono speakers, not stereo sound. There is also no stereo wired input on this thing. But you can feed 1 channel to it by XLR, and the other channel to another B115* through another XLR cable if you want to do that. But then, buy a much cheaper non-wireless B115. Just keep this in mind - this thing is amazing, but might not be as versatile as you think it is.
