Avalon Organics Peppermint Hand And Body Lotion, 12-Ounce Bottle (Pack of 2)

I have fragrance allergies, and so I am always looking for something that uses natural or certain synthetics that do not trigger and skin reactions or respiratory distress, and this product really fits the bill. It smells wonderful and really keeps my hands from drying out without leaving them oily or greasy. The product is absorbed quickly, and leaved little to no residual smell (not that I'd mind - as I said it smells great). I find it really refreshing, and I find myself rubbing my hands together near my face after applying it, just so that I can enjoy the aroma. I have not tied other varieties, but the peppermint is a great smell for the whole family, unlike lavender or other scents which I suspect may be too feminine for the men. Another great selling point for this is the price. Since just a small amount is great for the hands, the twin pack allows us to keep a dispenser in each primary hand washing station (bathroom and kitchen) and they last for several months. It's significantly less expense than we were shelling out for Aveeno all natural this or that (which were all great products, but much more expensive).

It has no moisture for me.

I have been purchasing Avalon organics lavender lotion for 20 years! Love it! My skin loves it! The smell is awesome!

I bought this lotion because I was looking for a peppermint scent and feeling that I usually find with mint products and was interested in using it in lotion form instead of shampoo or face wash. This lotion is smooth, weightless and moisturizing but as for anything making this product "peppermint"...eh. I find that the scent is gone by the time you finish getting it out of the bottle and have never felt the tingling sensation or cool effect against my skin which is what I was mostly looking for so in the end, disappointed but still a fine product. If you are looking specifically or peppermint sensation or scent, I would look for another product but if you want a softening lotion with mild scent... this is the one for you!

Bought this to help soothe my dry itchy skin, especially during the Summer. The lotion is moisturizing without leaving a weird sticky feeling not to mention the cooling effect from the peppermint, also it is a natural insect repellent! Would recommend to anyone needing an extra boost of moisture and wanting to keep the bugs off while outside.
