The shampoo and conditioner that came with it were supposed to be for curly hair and I had high hopes, but was disappointed by how drying they both were. Complete hair disasters in the making! I figured I might as well try this curl cream sample anyway since I was going to have to do a deep condition later to fix what the shampoo and conditioner had broken. Imagine my surprise when this stuff turned out to be a holy grail product! It has a lighter scent than any of the shampoo and conditioners, but is pleasant. You don’t need to use a ton of it on fine hair and you can just flip, scrunch it into damp hair and let it dry. It’s not sticky, it doesn’t weigh your hair down, or leave it looking or feeling greasy. Out of all their products, this is the only one I’ve rushed to buy the full size. Everything else has dried my hair out and left it frizzy, but the curl cream is a keeper for me. YMMV of course, because everyone’s hair is different and needs different products, but if you have fine hair with waves or curls, I recommend at least spending the $4 on the Cassette sample packet set to try this curl cream out.
