I just received this doggie car seat and it's just perfect for my 11 lb. chihuahua-terrier mix. It was easy and quick to assemble. It has a wire frame that slips under velcro tabs to make the bucket part sturdy. It will not collapse. The inside liner is soft and will not be difficult to remove for washing. The strap that fits over the headrest is adjustable. As my new doggie becomes more secure about car rides, I can raise it up so she can see out the windows. The seat belt strap is also adjustable and fit well around the Honda CRV bucket seats. The seat is set up on the backseat of the car, and there is enough room around both sides of the vehicle bucket seat to slide the belt in on either side. The car seat came with a little collapsible water dish and attachable doggie cleanup bag. It has a large nicely zippered pocket along the front and one side, into which these two accessories fit neatly. So far, I love everything about this car seat. My newly-adopted rescue dog seemed to feel secure and safe inside it. She is a hider, so I think she would have jumped out if she could, but the adjustable tether kept her safely inside. Just a great carseat in every way!

My goal was to get my dog (a 7 lb Chihuahua) off my center console. I downsized vehicles and was attempting to use my console dog seat for my car companion. This was not ideal because I'm a bit claustrophobic and felt squeezed into my seat. It worked well for settling down his car anxiety though. I decided to purchase this car seat to give myself a bit of breathing space. It's pretty easy to set up and fold down for storage and also seems to be better suited for dogs that like to hang over the edges of their car seat since the sides are supported by a metal frame. The metal frame is not well padded and the sides are pretty deep. Is that a negative? You decide, but honestly its pretty dang easy to add a small pillow, towel, or blanket to make up for both. The deep sides means that it may not be a perfect fit for your dog, but I would rather have room for adding a favorite blanket than worry about whether my dog is sitting on a padded shelf with his toys flying everywhere while driving. The adjustable straps are perfect for customizing the height of the car seat and allowing my co-pilot to see our surroundings. I love the removable slip-in seat cover giving me the option of cleaning it easily although I would definitely wash it on a cold gentle cycle since the stitching on the fleece section appears to be easy to unravel. Overall, I am not regretting the switch in the least because it was a great price, the frame is sturdy, the installation/removal is easy, the deep sides allow for toys/blanket, and I have elbow room.

I love this seat! It's high enough that my small dogs can see out of the window. The extra bottom strap that goes around the car's seat keeps the dog seat from tipping. It's sturdy and comfy, but I added a amall dog bed so my dogs could lay down and still see out. The only problem with this dog seat is that there is only one tether. Both of my 10lb dogs fit in it but the tether cannot be made short enough to let me add a split tether to it. I ended up having to fashion my own restraint system.

Best way to keep your furbaby safe when on trips highly recommended a must for new parents

Tried it out in the house on a kitchen chair first.I bought this for my almost 15yr old chihuahua, who is 14lbs, so that our larger 1yr old would stop stepping on him during car rides. We tried the seat belt buckle for both but it didn’t work. This works perfectly, we put the old man in his seat and hook him in with his harness and the big boy gets hooked in with his harness/seatbelt tether. We did have to attach the seat to the back of the passenger seat of our truck since we can’t get behind our bench seat, it still works great and we were able to tuck the bottom strap into the crease of the passenger side chair so it’s out of the way but still able to be functional.

The baskets were such a great thing! My girls just laid comfortably and safely!

I love this for my little toy poodle. He can safely ride and still see out the window.

Appears to be too much lining material along the top edges. Snaps to secure lining may work better.

This is excellent! It’s very sturdy, and easy to set up. It’s larger than I thought, so there is room to grow into it. My puppy has room to sleep ( she’s 7Lbs ) so far and still growing. She can’t climb out because of the clip and she can look out of the window.I’m very happy.

Excellent product. Metal clips rather than plastic which are usually the main fail point on other similar products. Easy to assemble and install. Our Chi's love riding around in here. Our 14 year old Yorkie previously hated riding in the car, would cry and bark the entire trip, since putting him in this - he's practically silent. Apparently most dogs are prone to car sickness - being raised and seeing the direction he's going has taken this away.

Our dachshund had a very time in the car because of car sicknessThis booster helps a lot and she can have a bird’s eye view now. Though she is still a little nauseous I think she is much better. And what a cute copilot!

I am impressed with how sturdy this is made, bigger then expected and didn’t realize it came with a travel bowl and a poop bag dispenser and bags. It’s easy to put together but the instructions are helpful too. Going to pick up my dog soon so I don’t know how the dog will like it, but I’m very impressed with it.
