Metal Electric Guitar 3 Way Box Toggle Switch for Les Paul with Brass Tip (Chrome)

I've never liked the standard open contact type switches you typically find in guitars being prone to failure. Cheaply made.... I'm very glad I came across this switch. It was very easy to install, fit perfectly in my Epiphone LesPaul. Feels very sturdy and has a very positive click into all 3 positions. Definitely worth the money and have 0 issues with it. Putting them in all my guitars now.

Easy install

I guess I over tightened it the first time. But it was a great deal. I ordered another and it got here quick. Put it in a Harley Benton SC and it worked perfectly. Feels great

I purchased a used Les Paul copy. The 3-way switch on it was broken. I purchased this replacement switch based on similarity to the one that was installed. It was very easy to replace by unsoldering, and soldering the new one in. Secured in place, tested, and works as it should.

The plastic that holds the terminals is really weak. I went to solder my lead line from the neck volume pot in my guitar and went to preheat the terminal so the solder would stick. I held the tip to the terminal for maybe five seconds, which from my research have found that it takes around 10 to 12 seconds to get the proper temperature for the solder to stick, the plastic housing melted around the terminal and popped out. Not to mention the switch itself being broken. Not sure if that was from heating up or a defect but I'm definitely not satisfied with this product.

I bought this as replacement for a defective toggle on a guitar that I don't play very often. It works fine and seems sturdy enough, clicks confidently into position... My only gripe with this toggle is the knob, which is comically large - especially for guitar as is the targeted application. On the guitar in this unit was installed, the toggle is located on the upper horn near the neck. Never had an issue with the original switch, but this replacement is noticeably in the way when strumming near the neck. If I played the guitar more often I'd probably replace the switch for this reason only. This particular JD.Moon toggle might look cool on a funky 60's-era Japanese guitar or similar, but on anything modern, classic, or minimalist it just screams "Wrong!" Seriously, it looks like something better suited for the Batmobile than it does a Les Paul.

Great price for great switch. Works good

Bought this to replace a faulty toggle switch. I swapped it in and was happy it worked. However, when i threaded the cap onto the post, I found the cap didn't thread all the way down leaving around 4 threads exposed and the switch a bit taller than expected. If not for this, it would have gotten 5 stars.

Billiger Schalter. Sogar der Knopf passt nicht auf das Gewinde. Geht umgehend in den Müll. Nicht kaufen!!!
