That lens was expensive and I wanted a nice filter to protect against light bumps and scratches. I spent 20 minutes doing before/after tests and could find no negative impact to image quality or flare, even shooting directly into lights. Filter is nice and slim with a minimalist look (very little writing on filter). It has a high quality feel. I would say this is a top quality filter worthy of use on professional lenses. I was impressed enough that I just ordered another for my 24-105L.I have Hoya HMC and B+W MRC 010 for other lenses, and the Urth+ is at least as good if not better. Plus I get to support environmental efforts with Urth.Note: The code to plant the trees on the box flap says to go to Urth website to enter code, but the site says "coming soon".
