When I built a sonar mount on my solar powered deck boat the shaft was .080" too small. So I purchased this sheet and bent it into a cylindrical tube, just perfect as a shim between the shaft and the mount.

I was trying to order a black sheet of metal which the product states it is. It is silver with a black paper covering it.

Good all-purpose aluminum sheets for little repair/fabrication tasks. I used this to repair a torn bottom portion of one of the downspouts on my house gutters due to landscapers bumping into the downspout elbow one too many times. Cut a piece of the aluminum with some snips, riveted it in the damaged portion of the downspout, and drilled a new hole for the screw to hold the elbow onto the downspout. Worked great.

Used to repair roof damaged our aluminum trailer,doulbed up inside and out then riveted down.

It's a square piece of aluminum, What more would anyone need to know?
