So I received this next day delivery via prime. I have an old 1970s Mitsubishi DP-630 turntable which a year ago I bought a Numark CS1 cartridge. I've also had an Ortofon OM5E both budget cartridges under £50. I decided to take a punt on this, it was expensive for me yes but in the world of Hi-Fi equipment you get what you pay for. This turned up in a lovely presentation box, next day as mentioned. I opted for the mounted option with the AT Headshell. I simply unscrewed my old cartridge, screwed this one in, aligned it with a cartridge protractor and set the tracking force. First record I played, Meat Loaf - Bat Out Of Hell. Quite simply I was blown away, hearing things I'd never heard before! Quite simply buy this little cartridge if you are looking for a high end upgrade. Sound lot better than most.

Really love how this stylus sound. Was previously using the classic Shure M447 cart but I find it tends to sizzle a bit on the highs for some records. But with this XP7 everything seems to sound smoother.

Terribile. Buttata dopo poche ore... inascoltabile.
