These sling swivels set the standard for quality and strength. I paired them with a magpul 1.25" sling for a great lightweight option on a woods deer rifle. They will last a lifetime of hard use. Money well spent.

I absolutely love these Super Swivels. I've been buying these for years. They work perfect for attaching a sling to your rifle. I have used these in a number of different capacities. I have attached both leather and paracord slings to them as slings. Here's my take on them, notes, and some precautions:Pros:- These are super strong swivels and I have yet to have one of them fail on me over many years of use and packing my various rifles through the Rocky Mountains and Texas brush- They are simple to use. Just back out the lock nut all the way, push in, and turn to open the locking mechanism and remove from your swivel stud.- The locking feature itself. I love this feature. When you place the swivel on the stud, close it, and then screw in the lock collar, it just spins on the shaft without engaging (sorry, it's kind of hard to explain, but the directions in the package do a pretty good job with pictures and narrative). You have to manually pull out the locking collar while twisting it to be able to screw it out to open the lock to remove the swivel. No ACCIDENTAL opening of the swivel, this means your swivel won't accidentally fall off your gun dropping it.Cons:- The locking collar is made of plastic. I haven't had one break or fail, but this could be the failure point of this swivel. Time will tell, although I have had them for years with no issue thus far.Notes:- The 1 1/4" swivels are perfect for a 6-strand wide paracord sling. I tried one with the 1" swivels and it was an utter failure. The 1" is just too small.- To dispel some of the confusion in other comments on how many you need to purchase, here goes... If you buy one package, you will receive 2 swivels (as shown in the second picture of the package on Amazon). For most standard rifles, you will need both swivels to attach a sling to it. One swivel will attach on the buttstock and one will attach on the forearm end.- For rifles that come with pre-installed swivel studs, this is the package you will need to buy. IF your rifle DOES NOT have pre-installed studs, you will need to buy (https://smile.amazon.com/Uncle-Mikes-QD-115-RGS/dp/B0009TTROW/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1481138370&sr=8-9&keywords=uncle+mikes+swivel+stud) for wood stock rifles. They do what they’re supposed to. Uncle Mike’s has been around forever and has high quality standards.

Not a big fan of the plastic knob to lock and unlock. Once installed the lock seems to work with no issues. I would pay more money for a sling mount that was all metal with no plastic if I could find them. I don’t understand why companies alway seem to cheapen their products to get the price down when there are folks that will pay a few more dollars for quality instead of plastic laden just ok products.

These quick attach sling mounts are perfect. The color matches the stainless steel look of my Ruger 10/22. They are pretty durable too!

Very nice to see a pair of swivels that are modestly priced, are well made and do what they're supposed to. One of my old slings came with an immitation pair of these and I wore them out in just a couple years - but even brand new they weren't as tightly engineered as these. Comparing the two side by side it's easy to see the difference in quality construction. The others probably cost nearly as much as these to begin with. Spend the extra couple dollars, people! Save your expensive rifle from a bad fall! These are very sturdy and fit perfectly with my already-installed studs. Took about 30 seconds to switch from old to new. Nice to not worry about my rifle falling off my shoulder from a swivel letting go.Cheers!

These do the trick. Nothing fancy. Same as they've always been. Easy to install. Quality is good.
