I see a review below stating that these brushes can be composted. How are the bristles attaches to the handle? Some sort of glue or epoxy?

The bristle has been planted into the bamboo by a small iron nail,no glue and epoxy!!

Can these be used on non stick pans?

Dear customer, the sisal brush (light color one ) can be used on non stick pans, You can by sisal brush set in our store, the plam fiber (dark color one )is suitable for cast iron or other hard cleaning

How long do they last?

Not very long. I think in the first month, it developed a crack in the handle and has since broken in half. I mean there are two other brushes, but I'm not really happy with the seller who refused to replace it, if I changed my review. Then they heard that they weren't allowed to do it. So I got nothing.
