I purchased these for about $35 and they are worth every penny. The ones I purchased had the silicone tips as an added benefit. Some people have mentioned that the locking mechanism gets sticky after a while but I have had mine for over 2 years now and have never had an issue. The silicone end of mine recently became damaged and I came back to buy another and was disappointed to find it is out of stock. THE BIGGEST BENEFIT TO THESE TO GS IS NOT EVERN REAALY STRESSED. You know that on all of the tongs you have ever owned they are super lightweight. To ensure they don't bend and break when you pick up something a little heavier they make the long handles in the shape of a U but with each side of the top of the U bending in. Kind of like this [_]. And you always cutting yourself trying to clean in there BUT NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO IT IS IMPOSSIBLE. You know that stuff is stuck up there and years later falling into you current recipe. Look closely at the pictures of these tongs and notice not only how thick the mett is but how because they are so thick there are no right angles needed to make them strong. They are gently curved more like this ( but turned on its side like a smile. It makes it extremely easy to keep them clean. I would recommend them and while people mentioned their price, I will buy them again and again when available. See my picture

Why do I have so many kitchen tongs? Because I find fault with each one. This Rosle kitchen tongs is the best one out there. I’ve literally stopped thinking of adding another set of tongs to my kitchen. This is it. The best one out there.

Great product! The mechanism to lock/unlock the tongs is ingenious - your kids will never figure it out! Once you get used to these you will never go back. Can't comment on sturdiness/durability - only had them for a week...
