La Bella Oud String Set, Arabic

I ordered them for my oud and they arrived in good condition and with an extra F. The strings are silvery wound on the bottom and nylon on the top. The tone is pretty good. One note: they take a lot of time to break in so be ready for many tune ups. I guess that can be expected, but these stretch a lot more than I am used to.

I have used dozens of different brands of oud strings and I have found that la bella are in the top two. Pyramid orange being the other. La bella gives clear sound quality that "wakes up" any oud. They sustain beautifully and last. I have them on my Sukar 211 and they compliment my oud perfectly. Well worth the money for playing experience and buying from Amazon makes it easy. Great sound but the 6th string is went out really quick

if you can change the strings yourself, buy these and save some money on labor and price of strings, works great

The strings are not as expected. I’ve used La Bella a lot of times before. Usually each string comes in a separate paper box (as the third picture). Those came all in one plastic box (first and second pictures). The sound of the strings is different from what I used in the past. It is same Oud and I’ve used a lot of Labella in the past, so it is not about the brand or the Oud, but it is about this type of material that I don’t know from where they got it.
