Good Quality, But Tough to Trim
Packed well and overall solid, but each piece was about 1/8" longer than expected. Hard to cut cleanly, so double-check your specs before use. Might work better with the right tools.

Good quality and impressive packaging
This is a high quality fire brick. The packaging by the supplier is top of the line. The brick was padded with foam and tightly packaged in a cardboard box. Well done!

Arrived on time and in good condition.
I'm building a forge with a kit from HouseMade in Florida. These were not available in at my local dealer, so I was happy to find them online. They meet the requirements listed in the kit and were the right size.

Nice Bricks
I actually won't be using these fire bricks until the Fall. But, based on thier weight and solid construction I'll assume I will not have any complaints.

The Brickhouse Fire Bricks
I purchased this bricks for a forge floor, and I've actually never purchased firebricks of such good quality. You'd think that firebricks are all the same, but I'm here to tell you that isn't all true. Most bricks I've purchased have chipped and crumbled as I was working with them, but these big fellas were installed without a scratch on them. Even now that I've been using my forge, they're still perfectly intact. They arrived very well packaged and secure. I will be purchasing more, when I need them.

Cracked under 2000 degrees
1 Cracked in half after 2nd fire at 1900°F. 2nd one has Crack in it already.

Not a great brick overall. I'll start by mentioning it did better than the fire brick bought from Canadian tire. They turned to sludge, glass after a few melts, which was a pain because I had to recoat my forge when it tore off the satanite during removal. These have yet to melt... However on the first heat cycle, it cracked all the way through, in a circle, from where my crucible sat. It has not broken through, but it's only a matter of time. I cut it in half, so maybe the other side will hold up better, but my expectations aren't high. They might hold up as a floor for heating metal, for smithing purposes. But I would hesitate to use these for melting purposes. I don't think my temperature got to 3200°F. I melt copper, so maybe 2000°F.
