Installing the first one was a learning event. The next 11 lights took about 5 minutes each. Some excellent hints on the 'review' letters made a big difference. The recessed cans placed on our house, 20 years ago, had the little tabs built into the can. Once these tabs were bent out, they provided the "holders" for the big springs to slide into. The new light fixtures fit nicely against the ceiling. No longer room for bugs or cold air to come in, My original purchase was for 12 lights and I just ordered another dozen. The price is very reasonable. I hope they last for a few years. I have them set on the lower setting, which provides plenty of brightness with a light yellow color.

I bought this 12 pack to replace my current recessed lights. I have 10 which I "installed" a few years back. One of them spontaneously cracked so I bought this to replace. I bought a 12 pack instead of 1 single because I couldn't pass up the price AND I was concerned it wouldn't "fit in" with the others. It fits in okay - the white part is actually white (my current ones are a little off-white) and the light is brighter than my current ones (I have it set to 4000k to match as close as possible as the other settings were off). The hardest part of installing these was taking the old one out. Once I managed to get it out, I was able to screw in the "light bulb" part, hook up the wire clip and slide the light into place. Not including taking out the old one, the total install tool about 2 minutes. For what it's worth, the light is in front of my refrigerator and it's much nicer to see the area now! Haha Very happy with my purchase. Will probably replace all the others because the white part is very nice and clean looking.

Installation is a 10/10. I am satisfied with the product that I received based on its quality and it was very easy to use.

I have a house filled with ceiling lights using 60 watt incandescent bulbs. They are hot and big energy users. Plus the “can” is open around the bulb. These upgrades are fantastic. Unscrew your bulb, screw in the supplied adaptor, plug that into the LED light, select which color you want, slip on the spring arm then simply guide those arms onto the c-clamp in the light can. Takes 3 minutes. Looks beautiful. I am so glad I went with these. They are the perfect upgrade. The one star takeaway is that I have two rooms with 5 inch cans. They do not fit these as stated in their description. You need to order the four inch model. Sadly for me I waited too long to install the last two rooms way past my return date. Good light just select the 4 for a 5 inch can.

These are wonderful replacement lights for remodels. There is a switch under the rim to choose the color of light. Cost effective and so much brighter and cooler than the old recessed cans.

The replacement led lights were so easy to change out with the high hats old light. It looks very sleek and updated. It was easier to install the new led lights than to remove the old ones. The screw in fits a standard e26 base. Also changed out the light switch to a dimmer switch.

I had several of my lights go out at the same time so i purchased this product. Compared to the product I had installed already these lights seemed to be lesser in quality. Other than that, The lights were extremely easy to install, Worked great, I was able to switch between the 3 lighting settings and pick which brightness i preferred. as of right now no complaints but i will provide an update if anything happens in the next couple months.

We bought thirteen 12-packs (156 lights) for our new house construction just over two years ago, and moved in a year and a half ago. We had about a 10% failure rate out of the box that I never went back and got replacements for (we were past Amazon's return window by the time the electricians started installing them). We've had a few fail randomly since then, but in the past week, three have died in our kitchen, which probably has the most on-time of any light in the house. Still, that's far short of their five year warranty claims, and a tiny fraction of what traditional bulbs would last. We'll see if I can get ahold of Amico and what they do about it. I foresee a lot of warranty requests over the next three years as these continue to fail. Hopefully they'll make this right. As far as them working with dimmers, we've had mixed success. Some circuits work reasonably well, while others blink on and off as they turn on, even though the dimmer is set to maximum. We typically leave everything on full, but some we have to turn the dimmer down slightly below max to get them to not flicker.
