We recently rescued a large cat and we hated the big plastic food/water bowls that came with the cat because the plastic looks so tacky and the bowls are too large. The new YYHY Raised Cat Food and Water Bowl set are ceramic so they look nice and they are dishwasher safe (my favorite part). Both bowls are raised but only the food bowl is tilted and they say this configuration is good for the cat's digestion. The size of the bowls is perfect for a cat or small dog and they look very nice. The bowls are not so tall that I can't open the lower cabinet doors in the laundry room. I have the bowls sitting on a "mat" so they don't slide around when the cat eats. These bowls are worth the money.

These bowls hold a lot of food and water for my small cat. I love that they are higher up and tilted so it’s helps with her digestion and supports her back. However, the writing has started to peel off and I often find little black pieces in her water bowl.

A friend suggested that I purchased these as they have helped her cats not throw up. Since I have these bowls, my cat has not thrown up hairballs or any kind of throw up. Sometimes he eats too fast and throws it up right away. This has stopped since purchasing these bowls. A good product design. This has made his life healthier and my life less stressful.Update: I used a metal spoon to mix his food. It wore away the coating. Quit using it because I didn’t know what the bowl was made of under the ceramic coating.

Bowl has helped old kitty be able to stand more than reach for food. Holds about 1/12 cups of food. Well made very sturdy and easy to clean.

It states on the bowl that it's dishwasher safe. It went through the dishwasher and the words came off. Otherwise, it's a cute bowl set.
