I mixed some up in a spray bottle and sprayed down the areas that were the dirtiest. I waited a couple of hours and then sprayed it off with a garden hose. In all honesty, I felt that it could have done better but that night, we had torrential downpours and THAT did the trick. So my advice would be - spray this stuff down before you know you are getting a heavy rain and let the magic happen. You could use a power washer with the fanned out attachment if you have one.
